We had a great time last Saturday night at the Youth Activity. We played volleyball and kickball and then had some great refreshments. This Friday night is the Parent/Teen Activity and we have some really fun stuff planned, so make sure you are there!
This past Friday we had one of our main outreach events for the summer. The teens got involved in a battle between Coke and Pepsi to determine which was the best soft-drink! The activities included big-ball volleyball, big-ball soccer, and big-ball baseball, as well as some good relay races.
Several visitors came from the area as well as many who were invited by the teens themselves. This provided an excellent opportunity to make some new contacts as well as preach the gospel to a group of about 50 teens.
Last week we had Daily Vacation Bible School. Several of the 7th and 8th Graders were in class with Pastor Ryan and many of the older teens served faithfully as teachers or helpers. Here are a few pictures of the week.
Thursday we had a water balloon fight with the Junior High Class here are some of the more interesting pictures.
At the very beginning of the ropes course, on the platform for the zipline is inscribed the verse: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
